Words Are Magic

On June 1, 2016, 1st Amendment First’s founder and president, Matt Patterson, was published in The Washington Times.

In his piece, Mr. Patterson conveys the power of words: “The right words in the right order can land you that dream job. Can destroy or save a reputation. Can inspire or crush hope. Can make someone fall in love with you, or ensure they never want to see you again.”

He then explains that this power is the same reason America needs to fight for our freedoms in the First Amendment.
